Barking Dog Bar has been a Sprout Creatives client since our earliest days, and over the years their business continued to evolve while their website began to show its age. It was time to give their online presence the same energy and personality customers experience at the restaurant. The existing website needed a fresh, modern design, improved mobile usability, and a better way to showcase the food, drinks, atmosphere, and character that have made Barking Dog a local favorite. The challenge was to modernize a familiar brand without losing the personality that makes Barking Dog uniquely Barking Dog.

Sprout Creatives redesigned Barking Dog Bar’s website around a refreshed brand position: a high-end neighborhood dive bar with great food, creative drinks, and plenty of personality. The new website uses bold, large-scale photography and video to capture the atmosphere of Barking Dog and give visitors a feel for the experience before they ever walk through the door. The design balances a polished, modern aesthetic with the casual, approachable character that defines the brand. We also developed custom content management tools for food and drink items, giving the Barking Dog team greater control over their menus and the ability to keep website content current without relying on a developer for routine updates. The result is a website that doesn’t just provide information—it communicates what Barking Dog is all about.
